• Bob the crazy hippo with a glandular problem

“Here we observe the zebra in it’s natural habitat,” said the British naturalist on television. Bob changed the channel.

On the next channel, the British naturalist said, “As you can see, this zebra has had one blade of grass too many.” Bob changed the channel.

On the next channel, the man was saying, “Zebras are delicate creatures, you see, but they are, of course, miraculous creatures and are the most amazing animals on earth.”

    Bob changed the channel.

This went on for some time until Bob finally just turned off the TV. The boring announcer talking about zebras was on every channel. Bob got up from the couch, picked up a package of chips, and decided to go watch a video on his phone instead. When he turned around, he saw a whole camera crew, as well as the British TV announcer standing behind him.

The British announcer began to talk to the camera, “And here we have an overstuffed hippopotamus, who obviously has some sort of glandular problem, as there is no way that a normal hippo could possibly get that big.”

“Hey,” Bob grunted, “it’s not very nice to call someone a hippo with a glandular problem!”

The announcer left and everyone lived happily ever after, except Bob who actually was a crazy hippo with a glandular problem, living in the zoo, who thought he was a fat human who lived in a house and ate junk food while watching television all day.
